I was afraid with the extreme weather we had this Summer that the Fall would be brown.  But with the rain we finally got and the cooler weather maybe we are going to get some color after all!

A wooden bench sitting in front of Kull's Furniture Gallery.  Lynn said it was made by a wood crafter during the Threshermen's Show from a tree from his property.

One of the little details I love on the Triangle are the "old fashioned" street lights.  They add a touch of nostalgia.

Despite the dry weather and intense heat we had in July the hanging baskets around town thrived with the vigilant watering done by the Garden Club and a load of volunteers. Notice how dead the grass is around the pole (with the little bit of green directly underneath the basket!). I noticed signs of heat stress close up, but the flowers still looked amazing.
