The First Presbyterian Church was formed in 1908 and the Church building was constructed in 1912. Because of falling attendance the congregation disbanded in 1994. A group bought the building and organized the Altamont Living Museum, Ltd. After some remodeling the building is now used to stage plays and for concerts.
